Masjid Jama'iah (Jama'iah Mosque) of Pantai Morib, Selangor was built on a piece of Waqf land (land permanently dedicated by a Muslim for any purpose recognized by the Muslim law as religious, pious or charitable) given by Tengku Ampuan Jama'ah Selangor.In conjunction with Tengku Ampuan Jama'ah's waqf charity, the mosque was named Masjid Jama'iah. The uniqueness of the mosque is in its specially dedicated building for women and its location which is facing the Straits of Melaka. The construction work of the mosque at a cost of RM800,000.00 was executed through a collaboration between YM Syed Abdullah bin Syed Omar, Kuala Langat District Officer and YM Raja Ismail bin Raja Abas.
