                  The Kampung Laut Mosque is believed to be the oldest mosque in Southeast Asia. It was originally situated in Kampung Laut in Tumpat, Kelantan before it was relocated to its current site at the Centre of Islamic Studies, Nilam Puri. It was built without a single nail in the 18th century. It features a five-ridged roof similar to those in the Java , Kono Mosque in Champa, Nad Tanjung Mosque and Wadi Al-Hussein Mosque in Thailand.
