Masjid Ridzwaniah, Kuala Kangsar, Perak Masjid Ridzwaniah, Kuala Kangsar, Perak

                  The Ridzwaniah Mosque in Kuala Kangsar, Perak was built in 1915 during the reign of Sultan Idris Murshidul'adzam Shah, the Sultan of Perak. The original structure of the mosque featured a wide octagonal space with a large dome and a rectangular tower. On 17 May 1982, a new mosque was built at the cost of RM3.9 million to accommodate the increasing number of congregational members. The launching ceremony of the new mosque was officiated by the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah, on Friday, 28 Rejab 1405 Hijrah corresponding to 19 April 1985.
