Masjid Sultan Sulaiman, Klang Masjid Sultan Sulaiman, Klang



Masjid Sultan Sulaiman (Sultan Sulaiman Mosque) is situated in the Royal Town of Klang in Selangor. It was built in commemoration of the proclamation making Klang the centre of administration for the Selangor State. The Moghul-based architectural design of the mosque is the inspiration of L. Keste Ven. The Sultan Sulaiman Mosque has a main minaret and four domes on each of its balconies. Its main building is octagonal in shape. The mosque was officially opened by the Fifth Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Alauddin Sulaiman Shah on 11 September 1932.
