Acquisition of Archival Materials 2019
Promotions and exhibitions of archival materials stored in ANM involve materials and works from figures of the Personal Letter Collection such as YBhg. Profesor Datuk Dr. Awang Sariyan (education figure), Sir Frank Athelstane Swettenham (Governor of the Straits Settlements), and Peter Frank Moss (journalist and columnist). Valuable and interesting Private Collections obtained through purchases are also exhibited, such as the Francois Valentyn Book Collection and the collection of books and pamphlets of films starring the Great Artist P. Ramlee.
A Talk Session on Materials is also held as part of the Promotion of Archival Material activities presented by YBhg. Profesor Datuk Dr. Awang bin Sariyan as a panelist lecturer on the topic “CERITERA BAHASA: Di Negara Tercinta dan di Persada Antarabangsa”.
