Providing explanations and disseminating information (Promotion and Publicity) to government agencies, the mass media, and the public about the role and functions of the National Archives of Malaysia and its responsibilities in records management and the preservation of the nation's historical heritage.
Promoting departmental programs/activities and disseminating information about the role and functions of the National Archives of Malaysia.

Develop promotional, publicity, and media strategies to disseminate information about the programs, activities, roles, and functions of the National Archives of Malaysia to enhance the department's corporate image.
Monitor and evaluate media coverage and provide feedback on raised issues.
Implement and prepare event management action plans for departmental official activities.
Coordinate and analyze public/customer complaints and the satisfaction of National Archives of Malaysia customers to achieve departmental quality objectives.
Coordinate, implement, and manage official visits within and outside the country.
Carry out marketing communication tasks to disseminate information about the National Archives of Malaysia through social media platforms and communication applications on a daily basis for public awareness.

All of the above functions are carried out by two (2) management and professional officers and two (2) support staff members.
