Audit and Inspectorate Section
OBJECTIVE OF SECTION
- Planning and implementing audit and inspection programs on record management in public offices in line with the National Archives Act 2003 [Act 629] to ensure that international best practices in record management policy, principles, and practices are implemented.
- Monitoring and overseeing Service Provider Companies for compliance with the accuracy of service offering terms and criteria to ensure that the services offered guarantee the security and preservation of records.
FUNCTION OF SECTION
- Conducting audit and inspection work on record management programs in public offices according to established criteria in line with international record management standards, the National Archives Act 2003 [Act 629], and other current regulations based on:
- Complaints from public offices
- Requests from public offices
- Annual planning of the Section
- Planning and implementing strategic cooperation for the Star Rating Assessment (SSR) audit with public offices.
- Planning and implementing the Public Sector Record Management Award program.
- Planning and implementing secretariat and inspectorate work on the area codes for Service Provider Companies for:
- Area code 221310 - Record Storage Services
- Area code 221311 - Repair Services for Published Materials and Manuscripts
