Digital Preservation Unit
- Plan and develop digital preservation policy, standard, procedure and guideline;
- Preserve digital archives materials;
- Plan and implement the preservation program for digital archives materials;
- Conduct study on international good practice for archival digital preservation;
- Plan and undertaking active preservation of digital archives materials in Archival Management System (AMS);
- Plan and manage access of digital materials in AMS;
- Plan and manage AMS;
- Plan and manage accession and transfer of public digital records from legacy systems (non ERMS).
Data Conversion Unit
- Plan and develop digitisation of archival materials policy, standard, procedure and guideline;
- Conduct study and determine digitisation methods and specifications;
- Identify the types and collections of archival materials to be digitised;
- Plan, implement, and monitor the digitisation projects;
- Provide consultation expertise in digitisation for public office; and
- Documenting of archival materials that have been digitised.
