Reference And Access Section

Reference and Access Unit

  1. Planning and providing access to information and archival material in accordance with Section 37, National Archives Act 2003.
  2. Manage the registration online and manual research.
  3. Provide Advisory Services to researchers on research methodology, use search and navigation research regulations.
  4. Operate access services, information and navigation facilities of archives through the manual and online searches in the halls of research.
  5. Managing and providing research facilities in accordance with House rules using archive material and research house rules of the National Archives.

Research Support Unit

  1. To conduct the study based on archive material as a response to the topics / issues such as the mass media.

Library Services Uni

  1. Formulating procurement policy of library materials and provide guidelines in line with the goal of making the library of the National Archives as the National Research and Resource Center.
  2. Manage the construction of a collection of library materials relating to Records Management and Archives, history and heritage of the country and management support through purchase, exchange gifts and to all the library department.
  3. Provides catalogs, classification, index, abstracts and bibliographic database and the collection of library materials.
  4. Perform maintenance work, security, maintenance of collections and library facilities and equipment.
  5. Coordinating and supervising library services at branches of the state, memorial, geleria and library.
  6. Managing users and readers services include lending and reference services, inter-library loan service and consumer education.
  7. Planning, design and implementation of improvements through access to library services and online information manually.
  8. Making the library services department as a catalyst to realize the intention of the department of the National Archives a 'learning organization'.
