P.Ramlee's Birthplace
BACKGROUND
The Birthplace of P. Ramlee, located at No. 4A, Jalan P. Ramlee, Pulau Pinang, is the birthplace of the late Allahyarham. This house was built in 1926 by P. Ramlee's father along with his uncle, Rejab bin Husin. During the Japanese occupation, the house was repaired by his uncle. Despite being repaired, the house still retains its original form.
PAMERAN
The exhibition scope is divided into two main sections, namely showcasing the living areas during the late P. Ramlee's occupancy of the house and the life history of P. Ramlee during his time in Penang. The exhibition encompasses the original collection of P. Ramlee's materials during his time in Penang and the heritage artifacts passed down by P. Ramlee's family. The exhibition is divided into two sections: Inner Section and the Outer Section.
Inner Section
The Inner Section is divided into:
- Introduction to P. Ramlee
- Arts and Sports Area
- Bedroom
- Kitchen Area
Outer Section
In addition to showcasing the vintage bicycles favored by P. Ramlee, the original trees are also preserved. Visitors can also admire the beauty of the courtyard area, which is adorned with beautiful flowers.
